Computer Crashed

I haven't been online because one of our computers (the one I always use) crashed and now I've lost all my files. It's very upsetting. But on the plus side, it least we're now buying a new computer! So much has happended, I will update soon. :)

The Great Debaters

I can't stop thinking about the movie "The Great Debaters" that my parents and I watched lastnight. Not only did I love the movie, but I had loved the fact that I watched it with my parents and had a little bonding time together (my sister was in her room and left us with her giant panda as her substitute). I was thinking I should blog about it after the movie ended but it ended up being too late already.

The movie is based on a true story, in the end they even show real pictures of the actual people. I don't feel like explaining the movie right now (I'm never good at that) but here's the website: www.thegreatdebatersmovie.com

But I must say the actors were all so good and talented.. wow. There was even a point that made me want to cry. It doesn't have all the action as Transformers does, so I'm sure some people would probably be bored to death when watching it. But if you're like me who enjoys all the witty and heartfelt debates etc., this is the film to watch. My Dad loved this movie and it was actual his second time watching it with us. My Mom liked it too and I know she didn't fall asleep because she made comments throught the whole movie (so typical of her to do so) plus Denzel Washington's in this movie (he also directed it) and Oprah is the producer. Go watch it! :)

Your Own Soundtrack

As I type this I can hear my Mom singing in the background. My mom, sister, and I have been singing from our magic sing karaoke all night. Just made me realize there are some songs that stick with you, they can associate with either a good or bad memory from the past. I heard a song play and couldn't help but remember someone because of that song, I hate it. I hate how I have to change my iPod songs, and I hate how songs remind you of a bad memory.

But I've learned that throughout life you meet people along the way, sooner or later you'll meet someone new. With songs, the more you listen to them the more you start liking them. There are just some form of music that will never catch your attention. Sometimes you dislike them at first but then they start growing on you. And other times you like them from the start and stick in your head forever. The same with people. You choose who stays in your own soundtrack; you choose who'll make you happy and who'll get you dancing with every beat along the way. :)

Well I better get back to the karaoke, my mom's almost done and my turn's almost up. It was raining all morning but good thing it's no longer tonight. ;D

My New Blog

I love facebook. I love updating it almost everyday and interacting with everyone, especially with family and friends from around the world. But lately I have started to become bored with facebook. I'm tired of everyone's drama and all the gossip going with the site. I've had other blog sites before, but I thought why not make a new one here.

My lack of ideas for a name is the reason I used the same name here as my Multiply one: charmed4lyf :)

I hope I can update this very often. Personally I think pouring my thoughts here with help me deal with all the stress I'm in right now. It's my blog, my own world. :)
